Latest Update: Cristian Romero’s injury status is updated before of Tottenham’s games against Manchester United and Manchester City.

Dr. Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has joined us as an exclusive columnist. Every week, he’ll provide his thoughts on Tottenham Hotspur’s injury situation…

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Tottenham defender Cristian Romero may return to action against Manchester City but not Manchester United.

According to the injury expert, he will not be able to return to full first-team training until the end of January.

However, Ange Postecoglou said on Friday, January 12th, that the Argentinian was back in training, but the match against Manchester United on Sunday, January 14th, may come too soon.

Dr. Brar, a doctor of physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Tottenham News exclusively about Romero’s injury: “This is likely a Grade 2 or Grade 3 out of 4 muscular rupture of the hamstring.”

“I would have anticipated him returning to individual team training in mid to late January, followed by team training in late January.”

“However, Ange’s comments suggest he’s back in team training already which means he’s recovering quicker than expected and there’s a chance he’ll be ready for selection after this weekend.”

This season, the 25-year-old has made 15 Premier League games and has garnered headlines for both good and bad reasons.

He has received a red card as well as four yellow cards, although he has also contributed to the team’s attacking cause, scoring three goals.

His last game was on December 23rd, when Spurs defeated Everton 2-1 at home.

With Radu Dragusin arriving from Genoa, it will be interesting to observe how the dynamics of the Spurs defense change.

In other Tottenham Hotspur news, it has been reported that a player has experienced a setback in his recuperation and may now be sidelined for longer than expected.
