As Chelsea’s owner, Todd Boehly acknowledges that he has already made two major errors.

According to reports, Todd Boehly has begun to understand that not everything has been ideal during his time as Chelsea’s owner.

According to The Telegraph, the club’s ownership acknowledges that they may have overreacted by removing both Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter last season.

As Chelsea fans endure yet another difficult season at Stamford Bridge, talk of another manager’s dismissal is already circulating.

The latest blow occurred earlier this week, when they were trounced by Middlesbrough in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final.

Without disrespect to their opponents, the Blues will undoubtedly believe that they should not need to stage an inspired comeback at home in two weeks to reach the final.

However, multiple rumors have stated that the club is unwilling to replace the Argentine until he is granted at least the rest of the season.

This viewpoint may stem from the previous season, when four different coaches led Chelsea in a Premier League encounter.

Tuchel did not live much longer than the first few weeks of Boehly’s reign, as there was clearly a schism between the two.

His replacement, Potter, unable to get anything going during his time at Stamford Bridge, and he was fired after just one season in charge.

Given how the Blues haven’t really expanded on what happened during his tenure, it’s easy to see why they may believe they made a mistake in firing him.

When you consider what Tuchel accomplished when he was here, it’s easy to see why some may have regretted their decision to hire him.
